Looking Back....

Today the boys are 8 months old! I just can't believe it. I don't know where the days have gone and sometimes it saddens me. The boys aren't slowing down and neither is time. I am trying my hardest just to absorb every moment because I know in no time at all they will be off to school, graduating, getting married and having kids of their own. I truly feel like I am very lucky and very blessed to have these little boys. They make me smile every day. Now, don't get me wrong...there are still those days when we are a little off and we have some tears and some crying...not just the boys but me too!!! :) Those days seem to be fewer and farther between though which I am thankful for.

I was going through some pictures that I hadn't looked at in a long time and was shocked at just how small Cohen and Ethan were at birth. Such tiny little helpless things. Those days were such a whirlwind that I don't remember much about it. That also makes me sad but maybe my brain is letting me forget some things about it because it was such a tough time. No one can ever prepare you for multiples. You wouldn't think that adding one more baby would be that much more work but trust me...IT IS!! Once again...I would never, ever change it for anything though. You really do have twice the love and receive twice the love and it's an amazing feeling.

Well, before I get anymore sappy or sentimental...I'll leave you with some pictures from when the boys were first born. Take care.

Cohen fresh from the womb!! (4 lbs 6oz & 17 inches)
Ethan fresh from the womb (4lbs 2oz & 17 inches)

Ethan (Just a few days old) holding daddy's hand.
Ethan sleeping (still in the hospital). Poor little guy. He was there for 16 days.
Cohen holding daddy's fingers (a day or two before leaving the hospital) He was there for 14 days.
Cohen holding mommy's hand the day he was born
Mommy doing the kangaroo hold with Cohen.

Cohen under the billirubin (sp?) lights for his jaundice.
And Ethan under the lights too.
Cohen all cozy in the incubator.
Ethan...so little and SO cute. Look at how HUGE that binky looks! It's the exact same one they use now for a comparison.

And little cute Cohen. He still sleeps all sprawled out like that!!

Cuddled together in their bassinet. They were so small that they fit well in there together...with room to spare!

Laying together in their bouncy seat...yes a regular sized bouncy seat and they fit together well.
