Just some cute pictures from today...

Ethan's cute feet!!
Cohen's cute feet!!

Ethan's favorite blanket for nap time that his Auntie got for him...it's so soft and fuzzy he pulls it up to his face and nuzzles in it and falls right to sleep. It's like a magic blanket! :)

Our cat Ducky decided she wanted to cuddle up with Ethan's bear under their play gym!!

We had a visitor this weekend...

...our Auntie Jillian came for a visit and stayed over night. We were happy to see her because it was someone other than mommy and daddy to play with!! And on Friday night Aunt Sarah and Uncle Cy came and stayed with us for a couple hours so mommy and daddy could go for dinner. We ahd fun with them too!

The twin bond...

Yesterday after the boys got home from their doctor's appointment I put them in their crib to watch their mobile for a bit and when I came back in they were holding hands!! It was so cute. They held each others hand for a bit too...my heart just melted!! Here's a couple pictures....

Their 4 month Doctors appointment....

Well, today Cohen and Ethan had their 4 month check up (they turned 4 months on the 7th) with our pediatrician (Dr. Davies). They were very happy babies today so it was sad to have to take them to get their shots (5 all together!!) They had their regular shots and then the Synagis shot. Cohen cried and mommy was sad but Ethan SCREAMED today like I have never heard him scream before the poor little guy. Mommy's heart was broken...thankfully Josh was there to help comfort the little guys. Anyways, both boys are healthy and doing great. Here are their stats:
Cohen:
Weight: 15lbs 10oz (65th percentile) WOW!
Height: 23 1/2 inches long (8th percentile) which the doctor is not worried about

Ethan:
Weight: 14lbs 7oz (45th percentile) catching up to brother slowly but surely!!
Height: 23 1/2 inches long (8th percentile again)

Short and chunky!! We are now able to take them off of the Neosure (designed for preemies) and put them on regular formula which is great. Our pediatrician would like to start them on rice cereal in another month which is fine. So we have healthy, happy growing boys and we are just SO thankful for that. Between the preterm labor, bedrest and them arriving 6 weeks early they are doing wonderfully and we couldn't ask for more. They are our pride and joy and we are very thankful for them.

The new Bumbo seat...

Obviously Cohen likes the seat since he fell asleep in it!!! This
seat is such a great thing to have. It helps them to develop their core muscles
as well as keeps them using their neck muscles. It is designed for babies ages 3 - 14 months. You can take them anywhere and once they start eating rice cereal
etc. they will be great to take to restaurants etc. or on vacation. We bought one
to see how they were but like it so much we are going to get another one.
Here is Cohen getting his bath yesterday. He LOVES his bath
and kicks and squeals away in it...we don't have a picture up of
his brother in the bath since he HATES it for the most part and
usually cries!!

Brrrrr....

....it is FREEZING cold here!! It's sunny and beautiful and 21 degrees (-6 celcius) but there is a bone chilling wind outside so it feels like it's 10 below (-23 celcius) YUCK! We didn't realize it was that cold outside when we decided to go on a little family outing today. We packed up the kids and headed to Babies R Us in search of an excersaucer for the boys. Upon arriving we found a different toy we thought they might like as well so we go that instead. It's called a Jumparoo (I believe) and basically it's like the Jolly jumper from the "old days" but safer since there's no strings for them to get tangled in and it doesn't hang from the ceiling so there's no worries about the baby falling. It's stationary. I'm sure a lot of you know what I am talking about but I added some pictures below and I think you can see in the boys faces that they like it!

So we finished up there and decided to brave one more stop and that was for lunch. Once we got there and settled at a table Ethan (big surprise!!! :) decided he didn't want to be there and started crying an EXTREMELY loud cry!! Usually when Josh gets up with him and walks around he will calm down but not today!! I went and changed his diaper and that still didn't calm him so we decided to just feed him (even though it wasn't technically "time" for him to eat yet) and that settled him down. Then Cohen (who never really fusses about anything) decided that he was going to be unhappy too. SO...needless to say we ate as quick as we could and got out of there. All I keep telling myself is that it won't be like this forever!! :)

That was our day today. Nothing to exciting or eventful. Here's to having a good day tomorrow....:)
